At my home studio in Loveland, CO, I create unique robots from primarily repurposed materials, such as children’s building blocks, old bike pedals, roller skates, yo-yos, springs, and….well, you get the idea! Each piece tells a story, showcasing the beauty of transformation and innovation. My passion for art, craft, and engineering drives me to craft whimsical robots that inspire joy and curiosity. I believe in the power of imagination and the novelty of reusing a broad spectrum of unrelated materials. Join me on this journey of creativity and craft.
My Background
I spent roughly 50 years creating custom crafted, three dimensional signs. My wife and I spent 36 years in beautiful Jackson Hole, WY. After moving to Loveland four years ago, I began rebuilding my home workshop with most of the tools I had been accustomed using in my sign business. The robots I create today are more or less an extension of the skills I learned over those years. My degree in Fine Art guides many of the decisions I pack into these fun and captivating little robots.
